Life Groups
Life groups are one of the key building blocks of the church. At St Mags we call these groups "Life Groups". They provide one of the best places for people to connect with God, connect with each other and grow as followers for Christ in everyday life.
Being in a life groups helps to:
- Grow friendships
- Grow in knowledge of the Bible
- Allow you a time and place to express your spiritual gifts
- Equip you to serve your community
- Help you feel at home if you are new to the area
- Meeting in small groups is biblical (Acts 2), practical and proven to deepen relationships and help you grow as a follower of Jesus. Small groups provide the cement of the church. Everyone is invited to join a life group – Let Sam or the office know if you are interested as we would like to create some new life groups.
We believe God created us to live in community with others and only then can we experience the full life He intends for us.
At St Mags we want to create a space for people to do life together. Our vision is that everyone who calls St Mags home, will have a place to meet in small groups to enable them to be known, to belong and to grow together.
Life Groups provide a place for us to connect with others, share life, and grow in faith together. We believe life-change happens in the context of relationships.
Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together
We have different seasons in our lives that call us to seek different needs. Joining a life group is not a life-long commitment, It may be for a short season that meets the needs of the time.
